YOUR TATTOO. YOUR HEALING.
Your tattoo is a fresh wound. Good aftercare protects both your skin and the artwork.
Most tattoos heal in about 2–4 weeks. Continue aftercare until the skin is fully healed.
FIRST HOURS
Keep the initial dressing on for the time recommended by Alban. This may vary depending on the dressing used.
Always wash and dry your hands before touching the tattoo.
CLEANING & CARE
Gently wash the tattoo using the Easytattoo Soft Cleansing Gel included in your A/E Care Kit.
Rinse carefully with lukewarm water and pat dry with clean disposable paper. Do not rub.
Once the skin is clean and completely dry, apply a very thin layer of the supplied Easytattoo Tattoo Cream. Use only enough to leave a light, even layer.
WHILE HEALING
Do not scratch, pick or remove peeling skin.
Avoid tight or dirty clothing over the tattoo.
Do not soak the tattoo. Avoid baths, swimming pools, hot tubs and saunas until it has fully healed.
Avoid direct sunlight and excessive sweating while healing. Once healed, protect the tattoo with a high-SPF sunscreen.
IF SOMETHING FEELS WRONG
Some redness, tenderness and light peeling can be part of normal healing.
If redness spreads, or if pain, swelling or heat increases, or you notice unusual discharge, a bad smell or fever, seek medical advice promptly.
You may also contact A/E if you are unsure, but medical concerns must be assessed by a healthcare professional.
HEALED FOLLOW-UP
A/E will contact you after healing to request photographs and evaluate the final result.
If a touch-up is justified, it will be discussed after the tattoo has fully healed.
