BOOKING POLICY
CLEAR TERMS. NO SURPRISES.
Every project is reviewed before it is accepted. Submitting a project does not guarantee acceptance or reserve an appointment.
A/E tattoos adults only. Valid identification may be requested.
BOOKING & DEPOSIT
A €100 deposit is required for every appointment and is deducted from the final price. If the total price is €100, the deposit represents full advance payment.
The proposed appointment and, where applicable, the selected artwork are reserved only after the deposit has been received.
The deposit must be paid within 24 hours of receiving the payment request. After that time, the appointment or artwork may be offered again.
Custom artwork does not begin before the deposit is received.
RESCHEDULING
Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule.
A deposit may be transferred once to a new appointment. A second rescheduling requires a new deposit.
A genuine illness or health issue reported as soon as reasonably possible will normally result in the deposit being transferred.
CANCELLATIONS & MISSED APPOINTMENTS
If an appointment is cancelled, A/E may retain only the reasonable amount justified by work already completed and the actual loss connected to the reserved appointment.
For cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment, or for a missed appointment, the full €100 deposit may normally be retained when the completed work and lost appointment justify it.
If A/E cancels the appointment, the client may choose between transferring the deposit to a new date or receiving a full refund.
LATE ARRIVAL
If a first reported delay makes it impossible to complete the tattoo correctly, the appointment may be rescheduled once and the deposit transferred.
A repeated or unreported delay may require a new deposit.
HEALTH & SAFETY
The client must provide honest and accurate information about anything that could affect the tattoo session or healing.
Information deliberately withheld, or essential preparation instructions ignored, may result in the session being refused and a new deposit being required.
A/E does not tattoo anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or anyone who is unable to give informed consent. In these circumstances, the deposit is not transferred.
A/E may refuse or postpone a session when proceeding would compromise safety or the quality of the result.
ARTWORK & CHANGES
For custom projects, the client receives a low-resolution A/E PREVIEW showing the main lines and composition. Shading, texture and dotwork are finalised by the artist and are not presented in advance.
One grouped round of reasonable adjustments is included. This may cover size, placement or elements already agreed upon.
A major or late change may require the appointment to be rescheduled. A/E may decline the modified project if it no longer fits the practice.
The final design and placement are approved with the client before tattooing begins.
The client’s consent remains essential and the client may decide not to proceed before the stencil is applied. However, withdrawing from the project does not make completed design work free of charge.
For Available Artwork, the deposit reserves both the artwork and the appointment. If the appointment is cancelled, the artwork may be made available again.
TOUCH-UPS
One complimentary touch-up may be offered after the healed tattoo has been evaluated.
Touch-up requests should be made after approximately 4–6 weeks and no later than two months after the appointment.
A complimentary touch-up covers reasonable ink loss or minor healing irregularities. It does not cover a change of mind, additional elements, failure to follow the aftercare instructions, injury or work performed by another person.
The client must provide two or three clear photographs taken in natural light for evaluation. If the photographs are insufficient, an in-person assessment may be offered.
An approved complimentary touch-up may be rescheduled once with at least 48 hours’ notice. A genuine sudden illness or emergency should be reported as soon as reasonably possible.
A second rescheduling, or a missed touch-up appointment without notice, ends the complimentary offer. Any later appointment for the same work becomes chargeable.
CONSUMER RIGHTS
These terms do not limit any statutory consumer rights.
Where a booking is concluded remotely, separate information concerning the applicable right of withdrawal is provided before payment. If the client expressly requests that preparation begins during the withdrawal period and later withdraws, A/E may charge a proportionate amount for work already completed.
